A virtual server permits you to have a unique
domain name along with a server to host your web pages. As an
alternative to having an address of http://www.netonecom.net/~yourcompany, a more
professional and simplified address o f http://www.yourcompany.com may be used.
E-mail can then be received with an of, for example,
joe@yourcompany.com. Once a domain name is registered,
ownership is retained by the applicant and is transferrable to any
internet service provider. If you wish, you may include your web
address and e-mail address(es) on printed material used in your
business. These addresses will never require modification unless
desired, regardless of where your domain is hosted. If you

WHOIS?
|
WHOIS? is the means of querying a database which is
maintained by Network Solutions, Inc. regarding the availability of a
particular domain name.
Type in the desired domain name for which you would like to
apply. For example, if your business name is Acme Auto Repair
Products, you might try checking the availability of
aarp.com. After connecting to Network Solutions, type:
aarp.com
If no match is shown for the domain name entered, you are in
luck. That domain name is available for you to register it as
your own. WHOIS is typically a very busy site so several
attempts may be necessary to obtain the information desired.

Hosting services for your domain name - we
provide the server space for your domain and its associated web
pages.
Complete e-mail services, including e-mail
aliases and multiple e-mail accounts, with separate passwords, if
desired. Each of your business associates may have access to
complete e-mail services, each with a unique e-mail address
pointing to your domain name.
FTP access to your virtual server account.
This unique feature enables you and those you share your
access information with to access the file space on your virtual
server to facilitate the transfer of files. Additionally,
access is provided for you to place your own cgi scripts on the
server which allows complete customization of your website without
intervention by the internet service provider.
If you use Microsoft FrontPage
to create and publish your webpages, please let us know so that we
may make sure your virtual server is FrontPage-enhanced. Use
all of the additional features and benefit from the simplicity of
FrontPage if you so desire.
Generous allowance for bandwidth, accesses and
hard drive space.
If you or your company are involved in web page
design and development as a commercial venture, NetOne will not
compete with you for customers. NetOne will host your web
pages but we will not design pages for others.

There are no restrictions to hamper your success

Virtual Server Pricing and Application Form

By submitting the application form to NetOne
Communications, Inc., you agree to the following terms of payment:
This invoice will arrive via US Mail.
This fee covers use of the selected domain name for
2 years. Thereafter, the fee due Network Solutions will be
$35.00 annually. This invoice will also arrive via US Mail directly
from Network Solutions.

There are other registrars available please contact us for more
information.
Additional password protected e-mail accounts are
free. E-mail aliases are also free (E-mail aliases give you
great flexibility with your addresses. Every username you pick
for your domain will be acceptable, regardless of whether or not that
username is already used on the system. Hence, common addresses,
such as bob@mycompany.com or sally@mycompany.com will suffice as
e-mail addresses).
